Challenge
NIDA asked us to design a promotional piece for them to promote the achievements and diversity of Australia’s leading centre for education and training in the performing arts. A book was the preferred medium and it was to convey the influence and success of some of the Institute’s graduates and teachings.

Solution
The development of a beautiful book, focussing on dynamic typography and arresting imagery, printed in full colour plus a special fifth metallic gold ink led to the piece being known as “The Little Golden Book”.

Special print treatments including matt celloglazing, burst binding and spot gloss varnish helped embellish the clean, elegant design and perfectly showcase the premium nature of the book. The client was delighted and feedback from the recipients of the book was, indeed, golden!
